Marie Godin
Marie is a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow on ‘refugees, social protection and digital technologies’, with a particular focus on international migration from sub-Saharan Africa to Europe. She holds an MSc in Forced Migration from the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford, and a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of East London. Marie has published extensively on the Congolese diaspora and the politics of ‘home’ and belongings in different contexts. Her broader research interests lie in the area of migration and development, with a focus on diaspora engagement and gender, social protection and political activism.
