Talha Gunay studied law at European Law School (LL.B.) in Maastricht and holds the LL.M. in Globalisation and Law from the same university. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Europa Institute of Leiden Law School. His research concerns the operational cooperation between the EU authorities (Frontex) and Member States on the return of migrants in irregular situations and its judicial and administrative implications under EU law.
