Maisie Fitzmaurice

Maisie is a Research Assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), where is a member of the migration research group. Aside from working on MIGNEX, she is part of a number of other projects that study migration in relation to conflict and social mobility. She is studying for an MPhil in Theory and Practice of Human Rights at the University of Oslo, and holds a BA from SOAS. Maisie's research interests lie in the area of counter-terrorism and human rights, with a focus on immigration detention, deportation, and citizenship revocation. She has experience with discourse analysis, qualitative interviews, and literature review.
