Lise is a Research Assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) where she works on projects related to migration, technology, and human rights.

She holds a master's degree in Human Rights from University of Oslo. Lise's master's thesis investigated experimentations with artificial intelligence technology for border control in the EU from a human rights perspective. Specifically the development of an automated lie detector aimed at uncovering the credibility of third-country nationals.
