Elinor is a Research Assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo. She holds a MSc in Public Policy and Human Development with a focus on migration studies from Maastricht University. Her research focuses on international migration policy. In particular, her master thesis investigated the evidence-base of the EU's Search and Rescue Policy in the Mediterranean Sea. Additionally, she is interested in post-colonial and inequality studies as well as creative approaches to science communication. Elinor’s responsibilities within MIGNEX include the organization and analysis of survey data, the communication of insights from the analysis, the editorial production and quality assurance of project publications as well as other aspects of project management and coordination.
